CBSE has extended the the dates for online submission of application by two dats. the last date for submisson now is March 14. Last date for submission of fee is on March 15 and for online correction the last date os March 25.

In case confirmation page is not generated after depositing the requisite fees, the candidate should approach the Joint Secretary (CTET), CTET Unit, CBSE between 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. from 25-03-2019 (Monday) to 01-04-2019 (Monday) along with proof of payment of fee i.e. candidate copy of E-Challan, if payment made through E-Challan, said the notification.

The decision was taken in the light of the server issues coming in filling the CTET 2019 online application form and thye revises eligibility criteria. In addition to extending the last date for the CTET 2019 online form submission, CBSE also added an extra server for the online submission of the application form.

The candidates are advised to complete the CTET 2019 registration before the said time. The registration and online application forms are available on the official website of the exam - ctet.nic.in.

The CTET 2019 Exam will be conducted on July 7, 2019 as per the CBSE CTET 2019 release official schedule.The CTET Exam will have two papers. The CBSE conducts the CTET exam for CTET Paper I and CTET Paper II. The candidates who want to serve as teachers for classes 1 to 5 (Primary Stage) need to appear for CTET Paper I and the candidates who want to serve as teachers for Classes 6 to 8 need to appear for CTET Paper II.

CTET is conducted by CBSE to recruit teachers at Kendriya vidyalaya and other CBSE affiliated schools for Classes upto the eight standard.
